EU Conflict Minerals Regulations Statement
emv Service GmbH is concerned about potential human rights violations and we fully comply with the requirements of the EU Conflict Minerals Regulations (CMR). We expect our business with suppliers and contractors to be based on fairness, honesty, lawfulness, safety, environmental stewardship and social consciousness, including respect for human rights.
emv Service GmbH is committed to responding to customer requests for information about the tin, tungsten, tantalum and/or gold (3TG) contents of our products, and assisting customers in complying with their own reporting obligations under the EU CMR requirements.
emv Service GmbH does not buy raw ores, wires or sheet metal, but only ready produced electronic components and cables that may contain conflict materials. Therefore, we ourselves do not have the information on the initial origin of the raw ores. However, in order to ensure a peaceful, fair and sustainable use of global resources and to comply with legal requirements, we depend on the information provided by our suppliers. To this end, we regularly request CMR reports from our main suppliers and have implemented a corresponding procedure in our QM processes.
